Female hormones affect every aspect of health including mood, skeletal structure, cognition, muscles and metabolism. As women enter perimenopause they experience metabolic changes that effect regulatory processes within the brain and body systems that can result in brain-fog, weight gain, bone density loss and anxiety as hormone levels fluctuate and ultimately decline.
Tanya and her expert guests will deliver integrative and medical insights into the metabolic shifts of this hormonal transition; sharing how to adopt a whole-person approach that healthcare practitioners can use to support patients during the menopausal transition for optimal symptom relief and health optimisation.

2.35 - 3.40pm HRT unpacked - with Tanya Borowski & Dr Nicky Keay
For any practitioner specialising in women's health, having a thorough understanding of the different forms of HRT and regulatory guidelines is imperative. Women are seeking help in this area, expecting to receive information and guidance about symptoms and treatment options available to them, yet there is still such a great deal of confusion and also a significant amount of misinformation being relayed on social channels. Hormone therapy is both overhyped as “the only" solution for menopause by some while being simultaneously admonished by others- how does the woman on the street navigate all this ? As such, Dr Nicky Keay and Tanya will showcase this area so you are fully equipped to confidently advise your clients on how to communicate with their Doctor or prescriber and to make informed choices.
Learning Outcomes:
An HRT guide - understanding the risks and benefits
HRT – Types, routes and regimens
Which treatment for which women?
DHEA for vaginal health
The testosterone frenzy; when to consider it’s use
3.45 - 4.30pm LifecodeGx® Gold sponsor presentation
How to best utilise LifecodeGx® innovating & unrivalled Metabolics nutrigenomic panel to enhance your client’s outcomes across this time of hormonal transition.
